New Blogs!

Okay, I am becoming the blog queen. We have two new blogs at our house. The first one is all about the puppies. I am using it in my advertising to get these little things sold. If anyone knows anyone that needs a grand ole hunting dog....send them my way. http://www.burleypups.blogspot.com/

The next and best new blog is Ellie's. She has been begging me for her own blog forever and I finally had a minute to get one going for her. She is soooo excited. Ellie's blog is... http://www.elliejanehere.blogspot.com/

Rockies Baseball Game

Grandpa Eric came to visit us for the weekend and took us to Denver to a Colorado Rockies game. We had a great time. The stadium was beautiful and the weather was perfect.
Here is grandpa spoiling Ryan. All he wanted the whole way there was a giant foam finger. Which he got as well as a green crocodile named "Crockie".

Skylar picked out a pink hat that you can scratch and sniff. It is great.

Camden wanted a foam finger and a blue ball. So of course grandpa said yes.

Ryan said to me....."Mom this is the best day ever."

We were there early. It was great to have some time to watch the batting practice.

The boys got a frozen lemonade to share. It must have been good because they didn't stop fighting over it until it was gone.

Here is my handsome husband!!!

All Skylar wanted was to catch a foul ball. She brought her and her dad both a baseball glove so that they would be able to catch one. One came right towards us, so I grabbed her glove off of her hand and got ready to catch the ball. Unfortunately it was over my head and a guy three rows up caught it. You could tell she was sad. We sat down and she turned back to look at the guy and he tossed it to her. I don't know the guy's name, but what a wonderful gesture that was. Please wish all your good carma his way beacause he made Skylar's day. Thank you stranger from the baseball game!!!!!

The kids all did really well until about the 8th inning. Ryan was ready to go and Camden was ready to fall asleep. Skylar was still ecstatic about her foul ball.

Ryan fell asleep in the car on the way home the next day still wearing his foam finger and holding his crockie..........

Camden was still loving his blue ball...........

and Skylar was still loving the spot on the ball that is black from where it was hit with the bat.

Thank you Grandpa Eric for taking us to the game and spoiling us. We had a great time!!!!

Current Creek

Here are some pics from our camping trip this weekend. Colter really surprised me, he was actually a good dog. I figured the weekend would be a nightmare with him, but he wouldn't leave Shea's side the whole time. We were able to let him loose from his leash and he didn't run off. Yea!!!

Current Creek is a nice secluded place. The lake is pretty small but it has a lot of good sized trout in it.

Spoiled.

Okay, I am totally spoiled!!! I just got my new dream camera today. Who gets their dream camera for no reason - aaaaa ME!!! I never thought that I would actually get it, but Cody said go for it (he was really just tired of hearing about it), so I did. I have been saving for it for over a year now. I had a little buyers remorse for about a minute (I really should have used the money for medical bills), then I quickly got over it. The images that this camera puts out are FABULOUS! I am still learning the camera (I just got my old one totally figured out after 4 years), but I am excited. Here is a little preview...

Zoey was my most cooperative subject - she is too fat & miserable to not cooperate - puppies are coming soon...

This one is a little blurry, but I wanted to post one of El. None of Tate, he was too busy playing playstation to model for me.

At first I thought it was cute that the hair was in Emma's face, now I just want someone to pull it back out of her eyes.

My clematis, it never blooms.

I know how you feel Zoey, I've been there...

(p.s. - I just wanted to be fancy with the watermarks, I had to have the camera's big reveal seem official.)
