My favorite part of our trip was the Catamaran. We got to have the boat all to ourselves and it was amazing. We snorkeled at two different spots. I have never snorkeled before. I can't wait to do it again. I have not been that relaxed for a long time. Nothing was more relaxing for me than to get to just lay on my stomach in the middle of the ocean and watch those amazing looking fish. I felt like I was inside my fish tank which is better than looking at it from the outside for sure. I wanted to take all of the fish home with me. We all enjoyed it and we had some great men for our guides - Pepe and Nacho. They would get the fish to swarm us and it was fabulous.

Hanging out on the boat.

I don't know about the others, but I do know that Don and I could have snorkeled forever. We got off the boat and bought our own good snorkel gear.
Ummmm -
Yah. Have you used yours in Utah Don,
cuz I haven't hit any good snorkel spots here in Idaho yet. I'm sure the Snake River won't cut it. We will use them someday - I promise.

Cody has never had a fear of water - I think that he is half fish. Maybe that is where Tate gets it from.

Sarah's reaction when the fish swarmed her was great. Wish I had that one on camera. It is a little freaky until you just relax and swim with them.

Keith and Sal stayed on the boat. Snorkeling wasn't their thing. I felt guilty leaving them to take care of Emma, but I think that Mom preferred Emma and Cam to the big ocean.

Emma got in the ocean for about half a second - that was enough for her. She takes after her Grandma. They probably sat on the boat and drank Diet Coke. Mom has trained her well.

This is a Mexican doctor's home that is being built. Wow!

Ellie
snorkeled for a little while. I was proud of her for trying it out.

Ryan also tried and did quite well. He enjoyed the sea creatures that Nacho would bring up to the boat more than anything. He wanted to take them all home. I had to touch the octopus just because if Ryan could do it - I figured I had better try. What a brave boy. He does not take after his Auntie Em, that is for sure.

Skylar was a snorkeler also. I loved that they all tried it. Her love was the treasures that Nacho and Uncle Don would bring up. I am pretty sure that we weren't suppose to take part of the ocean home with us, but Skylar would have taken the whole thing with her if she could have.

This would be my
favorite picture of the whole trip. Tate was quite the snorkeler. He LOVED it. I thought that he would freak out, but he didn't. He sang through his snorkel the whole time. He never brought his head up. Not once. He would be so into watching the fish that he would go off on his own in the big ocean. I was glad that Cody was in charge of Tate and that I got Ellie. Ellie stayed right with me holding on to a lifesaver ring. Tate on the other hand was in his own world and Cody was constantly having to go get him and bring him back to the group. Pepe kept pointing at
Taten and laughing. He pointed and said "he good". If all else fails, we know that Tate could always become a professional snorkeler in life. Do they have pro snorkelers??? Tate
snorkeling in the ocean - one of my
favs of the trip!

I know El - I was happy too.

Amber snorkeling in the ocean. Good times.

RELAXED!

This is all we saw of Don for the whole day. He didn't even wear a
life vest. I am pretty sure that he was a fish in another life.

Then out came the
spliniquer (I don't know how to spell that one). It was high and scary and you had to be tough to hold yourself on. Amber, Sarah, and I tried it and it is not something that I would do again. Don and Cody enjoyed it. Don liked it too much! I think that he is a little
brain damaged or something to think that it was as fun as he did (oh wait, I'm the one that is
brain damaged????) I don't know what Don's problem is. :)
Thanks again for another good day Mom and Dad. We will never forget this one!
