My Project!

Okay, so Amber keeps putting her projects on the blog and I just wanted to try and keep up so... Here is my latest project. When I took Abby's family pictures I loved London's little leggings. They were so cute and they inspired me to whip up a pair for my girls. Yes, I totally copied you Abby. Amber and I are going to start an etsy shop and these are some of the things that we are going to sell. I am very excited about it. You know me and my money making skeems. Anyway, the pictures are not great cuz I took them fast so that I could get these posted tonight. I will not have time tomorrow.

Ellie was headed to tumbling so she got to be my model.

Emma decided that Ellie couldn't be the only model, so here she is in the same pair. They will be a one size fits all I think.

Ellie was telling Emma how to pose! It was pretty funny!

New Slippers

Here are my new slippers. They are a little crooked, but I finally figured out most of the stitches that I didn't know. I used some old yarn, so not as cute as they could be, but I just wanted to make sure that I got them right first. My next ones will be cuter. And yes Emily I do have fat feet, but so do you. ;)

Emma Tumbling!

One of the things that Emma and I do when the big kids are at school is Tumbling. She started tumbling last week and loves it. We left the studio and she couldn't stop talking about it. Emma informed me that she did cartwheels and even flunt flips. Which is funny because I watched the whole class and the most they did were forward rolls. :) She was proud!

Ryan the Football Player

Ryan is playing flag football and I think that he looks really cute in his getup. His dad isn't too excited about the Wendy's on the sleeve though. Ryan likes feeling like he has big muscles.
GO RYAN!!!!

Amber's latest creations

Here are some pictures of my latest creations. I just tought myself how to crochet recently and am trying to find some easy patterns to try. I will keep you updated on my progress. Here are some fingerless gloves that I made myself. Camden wanted to help me model them. They are very warm and comfy.

Some slippers for the kids.

A Busy Family Weekend!

This post is mostly for me, everyone else might find it a little boring. The Couch family had a busy weekend. Don and Sarah came up for Grandma Elva's estate sale on Saturday and then they stayed until Sunday for Uncle Sherm's Party! I was dreading going to Grandma's Sale, but wouldn't have missed it for anything. I was very sad when we were cleaning out Grandma's house and when I walked into an empty home I had to stand there and cry for a minute. Seeing Grandpa and Grandma's house like that was a strange feeling. The memories that we all have shared there will forever be with us, but we now will only have pictures to remind us of the little details. There will not be a holiday that goes by that I won't think of going to Grandma and Grandpa's!
Okay, enough of the emotional crap. I have to say that it was a fun day at the auction. A lot of us showed up and had a good time. As Tom Taylor put it, it was fun hanging out with all of us and not being at a funeral. For those of you that were not able to make it, here is a little list of the attendees:
Mom and Dad, Don and Sarah, Cody, Myself, Ellie, Taten, Emma, Uncle Jim, Aunt Cheryl, Julie, Terry, Taylor, Bodee, Uncle Sam and Aunt Chris, Zane and Stacey and their 8 children, sorry can't list all of their names, Tom and Jeanine Taylor, Jane Taylor even came for a little while. Did I forget anyone? I hope not, but it was a good day and I feel like us cousins had a good time bidding together to outbid other people for Grandma's stuff. I had to take some final pictures of everything before it sold. Here is a little trip down memory lane...

Cute Taylor didn't mind being my model. I didn't want this couch and had no where to put it, but I didn't want it to go to just anyone. I was glad to know that Zane bought it and is putting it in his girls room. It will be cute and is very comfy!!!
Lime green is definately back in!
Ellie's shoes match!
Had to put all the kids on this couch one more time!!!

The auction crowd!

Aunt Chris and I felt a little bad about the fact that our old highchairs went for $1 for both!

One last stand on the good ole round table! Zane bought this table!

On Sunday we celebrated Uncle Sherm's Heart Transplant Anniversary. He has had his new heart for 14 years now! Aunt Dee had us all over to the Rupert Pizza Hut for Pizza and Cake!

The Couch siblings, well 5 of them anyway!

It was fun to spend time with both sides of the family all in one weekend!

I'M A CAMPER!!!

Well, it took Cody 9 years and 7 months, but he finally talked me into going camping. Not camping with a trailer, but camping in a TENT. No running water or TOILET!!! I can't believe that I let him do it, but I have to admit that we had a great time. We had a huge wind storm and I thought that we would blow away, Cody promised that the tent wouldn't blow away with him in it. He was right. The funnest part for me was watching Cody enjoy it soooo much.

I have always wanted a cottage in the mountains..... here it is. My tent is called Vacation Cottage! Not quite what I had envisioned, but none the less, it is a cottage in the mountains. Too bad that the wind ripped it our first time out!!! (It even has a front porch, but it was too windy to put it up.)
I love four-wheeling with my kids! I love that my kids have so much fun and enjoy the mountains!
Tate took Emma up the mountain and she decided that the only way down was on her bottom!

Just wanted all of you to get the camping feel! (I was playing with Cody's camera, it turned out pretty good.)
Tate has been obsessed with rocks for as long as I can remember, he thought that this one looked like the state of Idaho, I thought that he was right on!
Ellie was in charge of Zoey, as always! Zoey might have had as much fun as Cody did!
Emma got over her fear of Zoey and by the end of the trip, Zoey was tired of Emma bossing her around.

Cody went on an early morning ride by himself. It was a little too cold for the rest of us at that point. We went on an 8 mile ride later. It was a great weekend! Everyone should be proud of me for making it through!

Ryan and Camden News Reporters

Ryan decided today that he wants to be a weatherman and he made himself a microphone and made us tape him doing the weather. So of course Camden had to copy him. So here is the weather from Gering Nebraska.........
